Privacy Policy

TachoCamera is developed by Dominik Cyboran / CyborApps. The app is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, transmit or share any personal data. All data stays on your device.

Camera

The camera is used in real time to analyze the rotation of objects. Camera frames are processed locally on your device and are never stored, transmitted or shared. The only exception is the manual SNAP function — photos taken with SNAP are saved locally in the app's storage on your device.

Location

Location (GPS coordinates) may be attached to individual measurements at your discretion. This data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to any server. Location access is optional — you can deny it and the app will work normally.

Measurement data

All measurement data (objects, machines, components, RPM readings, photos) is stored locally on your device in the app's document directory. This data:

• Is not transmitted to any server
• Is not shared with any third party
• Is included in standard iOS device backups (iCloud Backup or iTunes/Finder)
• Can be exported manually as a backup file using the in-app export function

In-app purchases

TachoCamera offers optional subscriptions. All payments are processed by Apple Inc. through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment or billing information. Apple's handling of payment data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Trial period

To prevent trial reset on reinstall, the app stores a trial start date in the device Keychain. This is technical data only — it is not personal information and never leaves your device.

Problem reporting

When you use the "Report a problem" feature in the app, an email is composed containing your device model, iOS version and app version. This data is sent directly to us by you and is used solely to diagnose and resolve your issue. We do not collect this information automatically.

Analytics and tracking

TachoCamera does not use any analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking SDKs. We do not track your usage in any way.

Third parties

TachoCamera does not share any data with third parties. The only third-party involvement is Apple's App Store for payment processing (see above).

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since TachoCamera does not collect or store any personal data on our servers, there is no data held by us to access or delete. All your data resides solely on your own device. Children

TachoCamera is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Where required by applicable law, we will notify users of material changes.
